Presenter Bio:

Renzo Taffarello has more than 30 years of experience in international markets as a member of boards of companies and collaborating with institutions on sustainable economy, high tech, and green business. Renzo is currently a member of the boards of Kiasma, in charge of international strategy and innovation. His current focus is on Dredging Industry, emphasizing material technology, AI/ML, Big Data, and their applications for sustainability and green (near) zero emissions operations.

He is also a member of technical-scientific committees and scientific coordinator of research projects in collaboration with universities with grants from the local government and EU. He graduated in electronic engineering from Padova University, Italy, then he achieved the nMBA, Clemson University, SC USA. Renzo has worked with Stanford Research Institute International, Alenia (Aerospace and Military division), and Andersen Consulting (Accenture).
As a contract professor, he held courses at Venice University Ca Foscari on Applied Economics, Information Management Systems, and Human Centered Design. He is a member of the Innovation Board of the University. At IUAV (Architecture University of Venice), he held a course on Digital Technologies. He has been a member of the board of advisors for five (5) years of the European Branch of CIMBA (Kansas University), USA.
