Dear Thomas Cappellino,

The World Dredging Association (WODA) is establishing a series of interest groups to explore common international interests. Groups already underway include Reservoir Dredging and Safety. These groups concentrate on common issues and potential solutions that would benefit the international dredging community. These groups deliberately steer clear of proprietary information or establishment of environmental regulatory frameworks to assure info is shared openly and is relevant for as much of the global dredging community as possible.

The next interest group WODA is establishing is regarding Deep Sea Mining. WEDA is reaching out to our members and their contacts on behalf of WODA to identify individuals who would be interested in joining this group. Please contact Xiuhan Chen at X.Chen-1@tudelft.nl or WEDA's Executive Director at tcappellino@westerndredging.org if you need further information, are interested, or know or someone who may be interested.

Best regards,

Alan Alcorn
President, Western Dredging Association
