Map & Directions | General Info. We are excited to announce that next year's meeting will be held at the Maritime Conference Center outside of Baltimore, MD, from October 15-17, 2024. This center will feature Full Mission Ship Simulator Tours! We are currently developing our final schedule and will send out additional information in the coming weeks. We will focus on a specific topic of event that we implemented last year. Call for Abstracts: This year’s meeting will be focused on "Challengers in the Dredging Industry - Recruitment, Hiring, Education & Training, and Retainage". Abstracts are due no later than Friday, August 9, 2024. Tentative Agenda: - Tuesday (10/15/24) Morning will start the program with an opportunity to take the Dredging 101 and Innovations Toward Achieving More Sustainable Management for Dredged Material. That will be followed by an Ice Breaker and Ship Simulator Demonstrations & Tours from 6-9
- Wednesday (10/16/24): The agenda will consist of technical presentations and a luncheon program that will allow members to meet with USACE district representatives on a one-on-one basis. We are excited to announce that our evening reception will be at the Guiness Open Gate Brewery—more details and sponsoring opportunities to come.
- Thursday (10/17/24) will continue with a half day of technical presentations and conclude with chapter business at noon.
